My eldest daughter LOVES llamas.
When asked what her favourite animal would be, llamas would be her first favourite and pugs her second.
We made these paper plate llamas while crafting at home and they came out pretty cute.

Paper plates are so versatile and having a stack of them in the craft box can spark all sorts of creations.
Materials
- Paper Plates
- Craft Glue
- Scissors
- Sticky Tape
- Paint and paint brushes
- Textas and lead pencil
- Paddle Pop Sticks
- White cardboard
- Pom Poms

Instructions
1. Use a lead pencil to draw the head and neck of your llama. We drew this freehand – but the paddle pop sticks can be used as a stencil if needed.

2. Cut your paper plate in half. Cut out legs and a tail from the white cardboard and sticky tape these to the paper plate half to create your llama.

3. Draw details for the harness on the llama face and neck.

4. Start painting the body and add pom pom decorations.

Once complete, the kids can create imaginative stories with their llama and even give it a name.
